Heartspace book
Why we like them
We came across this book through a recommendation of a friend. It is a way to work with your grief after miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or losing your baby or grown child.
Speaking to the author, Ami Summers was inspiring. She has experienced stillbirth and miscarriage and has found the courage to help other mothers and fathers through all stages of loss by developing this self-directed coaching book. It could also make a heartfelt gift for a friend who has experienced loss.
A Life. A Finger. A Pea up a Nose.
Why we like them
There will be so many times where your baby will be sick (it goes with the territory of parenthood) and you will be up at 3am googling ‘does my baby have a temperature?’.
Here’s a book you can look at first.
Sarah Hunstead is a passionate teacher of how to respond to illness and injury in your child. This book will be a well-thumbed book in your bookcase.
You will meet Sarah in module 4 of the program. Plus Maggie Dent (who if you don’t know yet, you will) says that ‘every home must have this book’.
